Emergency Services Qualification Requirements

The CAP National Board now requires all members with Emergency Services Qualifications to take the following one-time courses:

They are available for free, online at http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.asp . Each takes from one to three hours to complete.

Please complete them, save a copy of your completion certificate, and bring it to a meeting or e-mail it to Maj. Phillip Crawford. The information needs to be placed in your personnel folder and, what's most important, it must be entered into the MIMS system as part of your ES qualifications.

Communication Unit Leaders (CUL) and Ground or Air Branch Directors are required to take IS-300. This is a classroom-based weekend course.

Compliance deadline has been established as 31 December 2008.
